Movies, Games, Music.
It's my life.
Oh, and beer. How could I forget beer?
Aside from the obvious, which trumps everything else -- my two kids.
I'm a husband, and father of two kids. I don't believe in censorship, my children watch the same movies and listen to the same music as I do. They have yet to shoot up a school.
A few years ago I worked in a video store. In a sense, I developed my own "cult following". Customers would stop me in public and ask for my opinions of movies, even after I quit. Some still do.
There are still roughly 15 people who call me on a weekly basis asking for my opinions.
As far as personal preferences, I enjoy movies with a plot line. I feel like movies today are centered around the stars. People overlook lower budget or even older movies. Might make me a movie snob. Oh well.
Quentin Tarantino, Kevin Smith, and Martin Scorsese are a few of my favorite directors.
I have to admit, I love gratuitous violence and obscure actors. I love seeing a bad actor make a good movie.
Music.
Strictly old school -- for the most part.
Before 2003. Back when music was music, before "disposability" was king.
Think about it... People are still listening to music from the 90's but not from two or three years ago. Add the fact that "artists" today rarely work on their own. It's all collaborations, remixes or re-sampling.
Games.
Gratuitous violence, yet again.
Re-playability is major as well as online capability.
